The Tales of Sedgwick by Jo Anne in PA

I recieved this card from Jo Anne and was quite excited as there is a limited edition of 7. Jo Anne describes what she is doing with this project "The idea for Tales of Sedgwick came from looking at this unmounted stamp I have owned for the past 10 years and never used. One day he just spoke to me and told me that his story needed to be told. Well his story grew in my mind and I decided to compile it into a series of ATC's using 90% rubberstamps with about 10% of other media thrown in here and there. Right now I plan on 3 seperate series of the Tales of Sedgwick with the current series ending in January 2006. Series two will begin in Feb/Mar time frame and then series three will come in the spring. Each series will have 9 cards (just like cats have 9 lives) and tell a major chunk of the life of Sedgwick. Maybe if I stay with it there will also be add ons that are not really part of the series but will include Robert Sedgwick, Esquire or a family member of his..just something for fun." Jo Anne hopes to submit and publish Sedgwick's Tale to a major mixed media publication in the spring. Best of luck Jo Anne and I look forward to the next card in series!!

Brain Cell # 627 by RYOSUKE in Japan

About every 3 or 4 months I recieve a Brain Cell from Japan they are a collaboration of artists from all around the world. This cell includes an image by me as well as artists from Italy, Holland, Germany, Spain, Uruguay, France, Russia and thats just to name a few. Each participant sends 150 items (stickers) or a rubber stamp and RYOSUKE hand prints each, usually 60 pages at a time. These are created on A4 size paper and as you can see they arrive in a brown envelope ..unsealed. A list of participants is included with each image.

This showed up in my mail box as you see it. Scott always manages to amaze me with the creative wonderful ideas he comes up with. Each piece of art is accompanied by a story about the images he creates they are always a riot to read my favorite is Postage Pixie I just love her!! Yes it is a frisbee and and was mailed as is.

Every Girls fantasy..Johnny!! Rose created this card from fabric, it is hand beaded and embellished with funky yarn and charms. Rose ended up making many of these as we all fell in love with them....I think this was only her second fabric card she had ever made and it is fabulosio(no pun intended)
